With so many things to consider when selecting a school for your child, it’s critical that families first understand what makes a quality school. Better information for Baton Rouge families…

The Red Stick Schools Guide will provide families with access to comprehensive information about school options in the Baton Rouge community. School profiles in the guide include district, private, charter and Catholic schools. The full-color publication offers a resource for newcomers and long-time residents alike. The guide empowers parents with information so they can make informed school choice decisions and better understand the city’s educational landscape.

October 2020 Events:

  • Hoopers Hoop Challenge- October 8th, 2020 6pm-8pm Canvasing BREC Park
  • Spooky Drive-in Movie Event Millennial Park – October 10th, 2020
  • Refresh Monday-CC’s Coffee – October 12th, 2020 In-person presentation with 5 participants. Each participating parent will be provided with a free beverage. Tracking will be identified by parental sign in of signatures and emails; also, by completing the survey at the end of the presentation.
  • Premium Private Watch PartyOctober 15th, 2020 from 4pm until 5:30pm. A 10 min. presentation will be presented to 20 participating parents before the Movie begins. Participating parents will be asked to complete the survey once movie ends. Tacking of this occurring event will be implemented by utilizing Eventbrite and survey completions.
  • Virtual Learning Panel Discussion – October 16th, 2020
  • Spooky Drive-in Movie Event Millennial Park – October 17th, 2020
  • “Buzz-in” Tuesday Parent Academy Virtual Panel with Tremaine Sterling – October 20th, 2020
  • Main Event- October 22nd, 2020. In-person presentation with 10 participants. Each participating parent will be provided with a free lunch and an hour of game time. Tracking will be identified by parental sign in of signatures and emails; also, by completing the survey at the end of the presentation.
  • Southern Cofe’ -October 23rd, 2020 – Painting and Cocktails; each participating parent will receive a free beverage.
  • Education as A Civil Right Virtual Panel – October 27th, 2020 at 8AM – 1PM
